The death of Nollywood’s icon and filmmaker, Peace Anyiam Osigwe came as a shock to many. Celebrities have taken to their official social media pages to mourn her death and celebrate her achievements. Peace is well-known for her notable achievements in Nigeria. In past years, she established an African body, AMAA, which by far is recognized internationally just like America’s OSCARS Awards to tell African stories to the world.
A moment ago, popular veteran actor, Ramsey Nouah took to his official social media handle to mourn her death. He wished that her death was a nightmare because she had plans. He said she has so many heights to reach, so many grounds to break, and many destinies to take flight on her wings. He noted that life is fleeting and the news of her passing is another huge shock.
Ramsey said she was a force, an icon, and a visionary leader in Nollywood, adding that she has written her name in the sands of time and her legacy will continue to live on. He prayed that her soul rests in peace and that God will grant her loved one the fortitude to bear the loss.
