29-year-old women from Ga-Rankuwa dies after a short trip from Durban. (Here’s what happened)

Frequent travel can have several health disadvantages. Jet lag disrupts sleep patterns, leading to fatigue and decreased cognitive function. Constant exposure to new environments can weaken the immune system, increasing the risk of illness. Irregular eating habits and consumption of unfamiliar foods might upset digestion.

Long flights can contribute to deep vein thrombosis due to prolonged sitting. Exposure to different climates and allergens can trigger allergies or respiratory issues. The stress of packing, planning, and navigating can lead to anxiety and high cortisol levels. Balancing work and travel can result in burnout and disrupted routines, impacting mental well-being.

A family member has allegedly confirmed that 29-year-old Thato Mogotsi, originally from Ga-Rankuwa, passed away last night. Apparently, the anonymous family member contacted The Ga-Rankuwa Mail looking for assistance as they could not track her down on Monday evening.

Following a post seen on her Facebook page, Thato made contact and confirmed that she is safe and that she was on her way back to OR Tambo International Airport from Durban trip. She confirmed that she had notified her parents of her whereabouts.

Upon her return, in that particular evening, she indicated that she is not feeling well. She was rushed to the hospital but unfortunately did not make it and shockingly passed away just before 10 pm. The Mogotsi family will release details of the funeral and memorial service soon.
