Sola Sobowale and Gideon Okeke Return in The Covenant Part 2 — Trailer and Premiere Details

The action-thriller series The Covenant is returning for a second chapter, and the lead cast of The Covenant Part 2 has been revealed on the official movie poster ahead of its release on Netflix and Kava TV. For viewers who watched the first season, the new installment promises to address the questions left hanging after that ending.

What to Expect in The Covenant Part 2

Following its run on Netflix, creator and executive producer Vincent Okonkwo is bringing the series back for another chapter, this time with South African filmmaker King Shaft directing. The story picks up with plenty to unpack after the events of Season 1, and the cast is expanding, with familiar Nollywood faces joined by actors from South Africa.

Dagogo is pulled even deeper into dangerous gang conflicts as the family struggles to hold on to its empire. Old betrayals, grief, revenge and the fight for control mean the problems they faced in Season 1 are far from over. With new alliances forming, things could get even more complicated.

Cast Returns and New Additions

Sola Sobowale returns as Stella, the family’s formidable matriarch, alongside Gideon Okeke, Uzee Usman, Bimbo Manuel, Segun Arinze, Ivie Okujaye and Tope Olowoniyan. South African actors Vuyo Dabula and Sibusiso Jill are also joining the cast, bringing new characters into a story already filled with family rivalries and dangerous loyalties.

Premiere Date and Where to Watch

The Covenant Part 2 premieres on Netflix across Africa on 6 November 2026, while viewers outside Africa will be able to watch on Kava TV. For those waiting to find out what happens after the Season 1 cliffhanger, there is not much longer to go. Dagogo, Stella and the rest of the family have some unfinished business, and audiences will soon find out how it all plays out.
