Ray-Ban Debuts Marvel Eyewear Collection With Spider-Man, Captain America, Doctor Doom and Deadpool

Ray-Ban has introduced a Marvel eyewear collection that brings Spider-Man, Captain America, Doctor Doom and Deadpool into its lineup. The collaboration reworks established Ray-Ban silhouettes with character-inspired colors, insignias, engravings and finishing details rather than producing conventional superhero merchandise.

The collection includes four adult sunglasses designs and a children’s selection of optical and sun frames inspired by Spider-Man and Captain America. Its release comes ahead of Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Doomsday, giving Doctor Doom a particularly timely place in the lineup.

Four Characters, Four Adult Sunglasses

Each adult design applies a different interpretation of Ray-Ban’s eyewear heritage, moving between established shapes and more contemporary styles while retaining the proportions and construction associated with the brand.

Doctor Doom: Bill Max

Doctor Doom is represented by the Bill Max, a gold-tone Aviator-inspired frame with deep green lenses priced at $260. Precision laser detailing adds texture, while the character’s insignia appears on the lenses and temple tips. The combination of gold metal and green accents references the ruler of Latveria’s familiar aesthetic.

Spider-Man: Wayfarer Folding

Spider-Man’s design is the Wayfarer Folding at $249. The black square frames carry red spiderweb detailing along the temples, with the superhero’s insignia on the lenses and temple tips. The folding construction allows the sunglasses to collapse into a more compact shape, and a special engraved message is concealed within the bridge hinge.

Captain America: Aviator Max

Captain America receives the Aviator Max, retailing for $319. The design revisits Ray-Ban’s original pilot-inspired silhouette, introduced in 1936, with silver metal construction and red, white and blue accents along the temples. A blue leather bridge cover carries the First Avenger’s Super Soldier star, while his shield insignia appears on the lens and temple tips.

Deadpool: RB2228

Deadpool’s RB2228 takes a more unconventional direction. Priced at $227, the wraparound sunglasses feature curved lenses and a metallic gradient finish that transitions between black and red. The character’s signature palette continues through anti-slip temple tips with red-and-white detailing, and his insignia is printed on the lens and temples.

A Children's Range Inspired by Spider-Man and Captain America

Alongside the adult sunglasses, the collection includes children’s eyewear inspired by Spider-Man and Captain America, spanning sunglasses, optical frames and a Mini Aviator.

Spider-Man’s children’s sunglasses come in a bright red frame with mirrored lenses decorated with silver spiderweb detailing. The character’s graphics continue along the temples, while a safety cord featuring a small rubber Spider-Man figure adds a playful finishing touch. A matching optical frame uses a slim, squared silhouette with character graphics on the temples and detachable clip-on sun lenses featuring a web pattern.

Captain America’s children’s design is a Mini Aviator. The smaller pilot-inspired frame uses red metal construction and blue lenses, with shield-inspired details on the temple tips, bringing the character’s visual identity into a scaled-down version of one of Ray-Ban’s most recognizable styles.

Availability and Pricing

The Ray-Ban Marvel Eyewear Collection is available through select Ray-Ban stores and the brand’s official online store. Adult sunglasses are priced between $227 and $319, with the Deadpool RB2228 as the most affordable option and Captain America’s Aviator Max at the highest price point.

Across four character interpretations and an accompanying children’s range, the collaboration incorporates recognizable superhero references through considered detailing rather than oversized graphics, allowing each frame to retain its identity as a Ray-Ban sunglass while celebrating the character behind it.
