Ifeoma Odogwu’s Lagos Fashion Week 2026 Wardrobe Proves Personal Style Is Thriving
Ifeoma Odogwu, the fashion editor and creative consultant widely known as Hyperfashun, spent Lagos Fashion Week 2026 making a persuasive case for dressing with direction and plenty of personality. From the runway tents to intimate presentations and the week’s most stylish gatherings, her wardrobe was as closely watched as the collections themselves.
A Familiar Force in Nigerian Fashion

Odogwu is a familiar face in Nigeria’s fashion industry. The former Genevieve Magazine fashion editor and stylist to stars such as Toke Makinwa has spent years working with designers, discovering emerging talent and helping shape the visual language of Nigerian fashion. When Lagos Fashion Week arrives, interest in what she is wearing runs alongside interest in what she is watching.
From the Federal Palace Hotel Tents to the City

Odogwu moved between the bustling Lagos Fashion Week tents at Federal Palace Hotel and a packed calendar of offsite presentations and fashion events across the city. Her approach made getting dressed part of the experience rather than an afterthought.
At the tents, she joined the fashion crowd for presentations by Y’Wande, NYA The Label, E.S.O by Liman and FIA Factory, taking in some of the design talent shaping the season.
The Week's Most Interesting Moments Happen Elsewhere

As anyone familiar with Lagos Fashion Week knows, the shows have evolved. Some of the week’s most interesting moments happen away from the main venue, and Odogwu’s itinerary reflected how much the city’s fashion calendar has expanded.
She made the rounds at presentations by Jewel Jemila, The Ladymaker, Rendoll, Kilentar, Onalaja and Orange Culture. She also made time for the social side of fashion week, including the Made By Us pop-up at Melrose Loft and Tiffany Amber’s Breakfast Club.
A Perspective Built on Fashion Imagery

What makes Odogwu particularly interesting to watch is the perspective she brings to personal style. As someone whose career has been built around fashion imagery, designers and creative expression, her wardrobe offers another way of engaging with the industry she has helped champion.
She has a certain clarity in her style and an unmatched point of view, something that is often lacking in the sameness of an Instagram-driven world. Her style reminds us that what makes personal style compelling is individuality, curiosity and a willingness to have fun with fashion.

Why Her Wardrobe Matters
