Kiernan Jarryd Forbes, better known as AKA, was a South African rapper, record producer, and entrepreneur. Forbes, who was born in Cape Town and raised in Johannesburg, rose to prominence after releasing the single “Victory Lap” from his debut studio album, Altar Ego.

Five months have passed since the assassination on AKA and the murder still hasn’t been found, however the legendary rapper’s last album ‘Mass Country’ been constantly making history with digital sales and streams.

Company by AKA is currently the most streamed Song in 2023 by South African Hip hop artist with over 3.9 Million streams. It broke the record for the biggest opening debut week for a South African Hip hop Song in history with total 278K streams.

It holds the 2nd highest weekly Stream peak of all time On SA Spotify and it’s about to reach 4 Million streams. Another AKA biggest song is Lemons (Lemonade) with Nasty C which is sitting on 8.7 Million streams.
