The tragic and untimely death of the famous South African rapper, Kiernan Jarryd Forbes, who is always addressed by his stage name, AKA, has left a lot of people heartbroken. His fans and followers have taken to social media to share their deep condolences. Family, close friends and colleagues are still in disbelief and inconsolable as they have not said anything about it on their social media platforms.As everyone is sharing their thoughts on this excruciating situation, masses are thinking of AKA’s one and only daughter whom he has left behind. On the 8th of July in 2015, the famous rapper, AKA, and Africa’s number one best female disc jockey, DJ Zinhle welcomed their first child. They have yet since showed her so much love and care and made sure she has everything that she needs and wants. Her name is Kairo Owethu Forbes and she will be turning 8 years old in July of 2023.
AKA dearly loved his daughter so much and has always made sure he assures her of it. He has always made it public known that Kairo has a the biggest special place in his heart. They have shared blissful moments together and has played a huge role of being a father to her.

1. On Christmas day, AKA’s mom hosted a Christmas party where all family members were invited. AKA and Kairo were also present as they all wear the same outfit in celebration of the day.
2. The Forbes family arranged and paid for a family vacation at The Palace, Lost City in Sun City. They has the best time together and AKA with his daughter had some time to bond as they played games together. Kairo really enjoyed herself in the presence of her father.
3. Last but not least, on the 28th of January it was AKA’s birthday and Kairo baked him a chocolate cake. AKA was very happy and touched by how thoughtful his child is of him. He blew the 35 candles and enjoyed the cake!
