3 Nollywood Films to See in Cinemas This November: Loving Itohan, Dear Ajayi and No Fury

Nollywood is closing out the year with a varied slate of big-screen releases, and November 2026 looks especially busy. The month’s offerings range from an emotional romance to a moving period drama and a high-stakes revenge thriller — enough to fill a weekend date night or a group outing with friends. Here are three titles worth planning a cinema trip around.

Loving Itohan

For viewers drawn to romantic drama about second chances, Loving Itohan is positioned as a leading option this month. The film is executive produced by Nancy Isime and directed jointly by Lucas Oluwale and Orobosa Ikponmwen, who also wrote the story. The lead team also serves as producers.

The plot centres on Itohan, a woman navigating hidden truths and unexpected emotional revelations that push her to reconsider her understanding of love, loyalty and past relationships. Nancy Isime stars alongside Uzor Arukwe, with Oberry Hovah, Martha Ehinome, Dorathy Bachor, Chioma Nwosu and Grace Dein Coker completing the cast. The film is billed as delivering intense onscreen chemistry and compelling drama.

Loving Itohan makes its nationwide cinema debut on 6 November 2026.

Dear Ajayi

Fresh from the international festival circuit, Dear Ajayi offers a poignant, nostalgia-tinged portrait of 1990s Southwestern Nigeria. Directed and written by Damilola Orimogunje, with KC Obiajulu as producer, the period piece follows two estranged sisters, Ade and Titi Ajayi, who are forced back under the same roof to care for their paralysed mother.

Tension builds as Ade’s steadfast religious devotion collides with Titi’s rebellious spirit and musical ambitions. Their shared living arrangement gradually exposes hidden grief, familial guilt and complex sacrifices.

The cast includes Tosin Adeyemi, William Benson, Lanre Hassan, Bimbo Akintola, Uzoamaka Power, Michelle Dede, Chioma Omeruah “Chigul”, Tope Tedela, Baaj Adebule, Kalu Ikeagwu and Antar Laniyan. Dear Ajayi expands into a wide nationwide theatrical release on 13 November 2026.

No Fury

For suspense and emotional payback, No Fury delivers a tense theatrical ride. Directed by Akay Mason, written by Chijioke Ononiwu and produced by the creative ensemble at Inkblot Productions, the story follows a seemingly perfect, envy-inducing marriage that shatters when a deep betrayal comes to light.

Pushed to the edge, the betrayed wife embarks on a relentless path of vengeance, setting off an explosive confrontation that threatens to tear both families apart. Jim Iyke and Nse Ikpe-Etim headline the film, alongside Nosa Rex and Kameel Audu.

No Fury continues its nationwide cinema run throughout November 2026.

The three releases land at different points in the month: Loving Itohan opens on 6 November, Dear Ajayi follows on 13 November, and No Fury is already showing across the country. Together they cover romance, historical family drama and revenge suspense, giving cinema-goers a spread of options as the end-of-year movie season gathers pace.
