Omowunmi Dada’s Turquoise and Black Look at the Black Market Guinness World Record Premiere

Omowunmi Dada made a striking impression at the Black Market premiere in Lagos, wearing a custom turquoise and black ensemble styled by Creative Director Kingsley Okoye Rex. The event took place at Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS) on Saturday, 26th September 2026, and marked a historic night for the film.

As an executive co-producer and one of the lead trio playing Adesua, Dada had multiple reasons to celebrate. The premiere drew more than 51,000 moviegoers, setting a Guinness World Record for the largest attendance at a single-location film screening. For such a milestone occasion, her outfit was anything but ordinary.

A Structured Turquoise Statement

Dada’s look centred on a cropped turquoise-blue top featuring wide square lines, structured shoulder pads, and fitted balloon sleeves. The bodice and sleeves were accented with black geometric patches and raw contrast stitching, creating a graphic finish that immediately caught the eye.

She paired the top with high-waisted, wide-leg trousers in textured charcoal-black woven fabric. Subtle horizontal weave lines ran across the trousers, while tiny cut-out details added another layer of texture. The relaxed silhouette fell towards her black pointed-toe patent heels.

Sleek Accessories and Finishing Touches

The accessories stayed sleek and structured. Omowunmi carried a black crocodile-embossed YSL envelope clutch and wore slim rectangular rimless sunglasses with gold accents. A gold wristwatch and statement rings completed the jewellery.

Her honey-blonde bob, styled with a soft side part, gave the actress a fresh finishing touch for a night that already had plenty to celebrate.
