Rave Glam Red Carpet: Standout Looks at the Tele x Zikora Premiere
A Nollywood premiere always invites a bit of dressing up, but when the invitation specifies “rave glam,” the red carpet is bound to look anything but ordinary. That was the mood at the premiere of Tele x Zikora, where cast members and guests arrived in bold colours, unexpected pairings and outfits that gave onlookers plenty to take in.
A Campus Romance Headed for Cinemas

Written, produced and directed by Adenike Adebayo–Esho, Tele x Zikora is a campus romance set at the fictional Lagos Metropolitan University. The story follows two young people from very different worlds whose paths cross, setting the stage for a love story. Ahead of its cinema release on 23 October 2026, the cast and crew gathered to celebrate, and the evening’s rave glam theme gave everyone room to experiment with their style.
Standout Looks From the Night

Sophia Chisom’s Unexpected Colour Pairing
Sophia Chisom delivered a colour combination that few would have put together immediately, and somehow it worked. She wore a royal blue longline coat over a matching top with a sharp white collar and cuffs, pairing both with a burnt-orange wrap mini skirt. An orange beret, star drop earrings and white knee-high boots completed her look.
Mike Afolarin’s Cow-Print Moment
Mike Afolarin took a different route with a cow-print shearling jacket, a black top and dark grey flared jeans featuring silver side-buckle details. He finished with a dark cap, keeping things casual while still having a little fun with the dress code.
Genoveva Umeh Goes Head-to-Toe Pink
Genoveva Umeh arrived in magenta and rose-pink sequins. Her dress featured structured shoulders and an asymmetrical skirt with long, shredded ribbons that moved as she walked. She paired it with deep pink tights and metallic heels, making a strong case for wearing pink from head to toe.
More Rave Glam Looks From the Guest List

Those were only a few of the outfits from the night. Other cast members and guests also embraced the theme:

- Angel Unigwe attended in a gold metallic top and denim cargo trousers.
- Emeka Nwagbaraocha stepped out in a sleeveless pink shirt and wide-leg trousers.
- Gbubemi Ejeye wore a metallic silver chain dress.

Rave Glam, Interpreted

From sequins and metallic finishes to cow print and colour clashes, the Tele x Zikora premiere showed how broadly the rave glam dress code could be read. With the film’s cinema release set for 23 October 2026, the celebration offered an early look at the cast’s style as the project heads toward audiences.
