Zlatan Ibile and Davita Omoniyi Wear Lemon Yellow and Mint Green for Yoruba Traditional Wedding
Zlatan Ibile and Davita Omoniyi celebrated their Yoruba cultural heritage during their wedding ceremony, stepping out in a coordinated lemon-yellow and mint-green palette for their second traditional look. The couple, who had earlier honoured Davita’s Edo heritage in burgundy and ivory outfits, switched to softer tones that feel at home at a Yoruba wedding.
Custom Mazelle Bridal Attire

For this second outfit change, the couple wore custom designs by Mazelle Bridal, styled by Goodnews Emmanuel Icon. The looks were created to honour Zlatan’s Yoruba roots, following the first look that paid tribute to Davita’s Edo heritage.
Davita’s Lemon-Yellow Gown
Davita wore a custom lemon-yellow gown with a sculpted, corset-style bodice, a sweetheart-inspired neckline and long sleeves with flared cuffs. Mint-green appliqué forms swirling, floral-inspired patterns across the bodice and fitted, floor-length skirt, with gold-toned accents adding extra detail.
She completed the look with a large, pleated lemon-yellow gele and matching sheer fabric draped over her arm. A green statement necklace, matching earrings and a mint-green clutch brought the accessories together, while the soft yellow and green palette gave her bridal look a fresh, coordinated finish.
Zlatan’s Mint-Green Agbada
Zlatan matched her in a custom mint-green agbada by Mazelle Bridal, featuring subtle embroidery across the chest. He finished his outfit with a structured fila, layers of white beads and a carved green walking stick that picked up the colour of his attire.
A Celebration of Two Heritages

The couple posed hand in hand against a plum backdrop in their coordinated pastel outfits. Their first look celebrated Davita’s Edo heritage, and this second outfit honoured Zlatan’s Yoruba roots, giving their wedding wardrobe two lovely cultural chapters. With lemon yellow and mint green taking centre stage, the outfit change offered another reason to keep up with their wedding style.
